This is a project of a Public School in a vulnerable community in Brazil. The main idea of the building is - instead of closing it with fences or grids – to provide safety for the kids at the same time permitting access of the community to the exterior areas, such as the lawns. Therefore, instead of closing the school with hostile grids, the walls of the building surround the courtyards, creating a safe environment for the children.
